L\u00d3PEZ AND VIETTI STOP IN Q1. BOTH WILL START FROM THE SEVENTH ROW<\/b><\/h3>\n

A challenging Saturday for the Sync SpeedRS Team riders at the Sepang International Circuit, where neither Alonso L\u00f3pez nor Celestino Vietti managed to make it through to Q2. Both riders will line up tomorrow on the seventh row of the starting grid.<\/span><\/p>\n

After an encouraging FP2, which he finished in sixth place (2\u201904.033) with good feelings, the rider from Ciri\u00e8 was unable to replicate the same sensation in qualifying, stopping with the seventh-best time (2\u201904.050) in Q1. Celestino will start from nineteenth position, one spot ahead of what was initially expected due to the penalty handed to Ortol\u00e0 for the incident that involved them on the final lap of free practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u00f3pez showed great progress in FP2, improving both his overall feeling with the bike and his lap time, but in qualifying he was unable to capitalize on the potential shown in the morning. The Spaniard finished Q1 in sixth position (2\u201904.027), thus missing out on Q2. Tomorrow, he will share the seventh row with his teammate.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/b>\u201cWe made a big step forward this morning, but unfortunately Q1 didn\u2019t go as planned. Tomorrow we\u2019ll start from the seventh row, which isn\u2019t ideal if we want to aim for a great race result. We\u2019ll hope for a good start and to finish in the top 10\u201315\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
