[vc_row disable_background_image=””][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Qualifying day at the Czech Republic Grand Prix has come to an end for Celestino Vietti and Luca Lunetta, who secured eighth and seventeenth place respectively on the grid for tomorrow\u2019s races.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the difficulties encountered on Friday, Celestino started Saturday with much more positive feelings. The rider #13 worked intensively with his team to improve the feeling with his Boscoscuro bike, finishing FP2 with the third-fastest time of 1’58.387. In Q2, however, an issue in the opening stages of the session cost him valuable track time. With only two flying laps available, Vietti still managed to set a 1’58.455, securing eighth place on the grid and a spot on the third row for tomorrow\u2019s race.<\/span><\/p>\n

The rider from Rome finished the final practice session in 22nd position with a time of 1’59.554 before advancing to Q2 thanks to an excellent fourth place in Q1 with a 1’58.874. In the decisive session, Lunetta was unable to fully showcase his potential and ended up seventeenth. Nevertheless, the result will see him line up on the sixth row of the grid.<\/span><\/p>\n

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: P8 \u2013 1’58.455<\/b><\/p>\n

“It was a good Saturday. We made a step forward compared to yesterday and closed the gap significantly to the front riders. I’m happy because everyone did a great job. We had a small issue before heading out for qualifying, which disrupted our plans a little. Despite that, starting from the third row is a solid result. The pace is there, and this is a track where overtaking is possible, so we’re feeling confident and optimistic heading into tomorrow”.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

LUCA LUNETTA #32: P17 \u2013 1’59.266<\/b><\/p>\n

“I’m pleased with the progress we’ve made, especially compared to yesterday. I really like this track and I’m building a good feeling with the bike, which is allowing me to become more competitive. We had a very good Q1, but in Q2 we weren’t able to show our full potential. I think there were still a couple of tenths left on the table, but I got caught up in traffic and couldn’t put together a clean lap. I’m very confident for tomorrow. As always, it will be important to get a strong start, have a good opening lap and then maintain a strong pace throughout the race.
