QUINTO POSTO PER VIETTI NELLA GARA DEL CZECH GP. LÓPEZ FUORI DAI PUNTI

Il Gran Premio della Repubblica Ceca, ultimo round prima della pausa estiva, si è concluso con una prestazione solida per Vietti, che porta a casa un ottimo quinto posto. Più complicata la gara di López, che termina diciottesimo lontano dalla zona punti.

Scattato bene allo spegnersi dei semafori, Celestino ha subito trovato un buon ritmo che gli ha permesso di risalire progressivamente la classifica. Dopo un duello iniziale con il compagno di squadra per l’ottavo posto e successivamente con Salac per la sesta piazza, il numero 13 ha mantenuto concentrazione e costanza, fino a superare anche Guevara a cinque giri dalla fine. Il pilota italiano ha così tagliato il traguardo in quinta posizione, a poco più di un decimo dal quarto posto, confermando ancora una volta la sua competitività. 

Gara decisamente più difficile per Alonso, che dalla seconda metà ha iniziato a perdere terreno, senza riuscire a trovare il passo per restare agganciato al gruppo. Il pilota 21 ha infine concluso diciottesimo, lontano dalla zona punti.

Il SpeedRS Team si ferma ora per la pausa estiva con l’obiettivo di tornare in pista nella seconda metà di stagione più competitivo che mai. 

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 18°

“È stata una gara davvero complicata per me. Nella prima parte ho cercato di restare agganciato al gruppo, ma con il passare dei giri ho iniziato a faticare con il ritmo e non sono riuscito a trovare le sensazioni giuste per essere competitivo. Chiaramente non è il risultato che volevo, ma lavoreremo duramente per capire cosa è mancato e tornare più forti nella seconda parte della stagione”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 5°

“Sono contento, abbiamo fatto una buona domenica. Abbiamo compiuto un passo avanti rispetto a ieri, sia nel feeling con la moto sia nello stile di guida. Abbiamo gestito bene le gomme, quindi è stata una buona gara. Peccato per l’inizio: nella bagarre non sono riuscito a restare con i primi, altrimenti forse avremmo potuto lottare per il terzo o quarto posto invece di arrivare vicino al quarto verso la fine della gara. Adesso sarà importante fare tutto il possibile per arrivare preparati, più in forma e motivati alla seconda parte della stagione. È stato un buon lavoro da parte di tutta la squadra in questa prima metà, e cercheremo sicuramente di fare ancora meglio nella seconda”.

FIFTH PLACE FOR VIETTI IN THE CZECH GP RACE. LÓPEZ FINISHES OUTSIDE THE POINTS

The Czech Republic Grand Prix, the final round before the summer break, ended with a solid performance from Vietti, who brought home an excellent fifth place. It was a more difficult race for López, who finished eighteenth, far from the points zone. 

Celestino got off to a good start when the lights went out and quickly found a strong pace that allowed him to climb steadily up the standings. After an early battle with his teammate for eighth place and then with Salac for sixth, the number 13 rider stayed focused and consistent, eventually overtaking Guevara with five laps to go. The Italian rider crossed the line in fifth place, just over a tenth of a second from fourth, once again confirming his competitiveness.

It was a much tougher race for Alonso, who began to lose ground in the second half of the race and couldn’t find the pace to stay with the group. Rider #21 ultimately finished in eighteenth place, far from the points zone.

The SpeedRS Team now heads into the summer break with the goal of returning stronger and more competitive for the second half of the season.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 18th
“It was a really tough race for me. In the first part, I tried to stay with the group, but as the laps went on, I started to struggle with the pace and couldn’t find the right feeling to be competitive. Clearly, this isn’t the result I wanted, but we’ll work hard to understand what was missing and come back stronger for the second half of the season”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 5th
“I’m happy—we had a good Sunday. We made a step forward compared to yesterday, both in terms of feeling with the bike and riding style. We managed the tyres well, so it was a good race. It’s a pity about the start: in the opening battles I couldn’t stick with the front group, otherwise we might have been able to fight for third or fourth place instead of just missing out on fourth at the end. Now it’s important to do everything we can to come back more prepared, fitter, and motivated for the second half of the season. The whole team did a good job in this first part, and we’ll definitely try to do even better in the next one”.
