#NEWS – GUIDO PINI TO JOIN THE SPEEDRS TEAM FROM 2027 ON A MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT
The young Italian talent will line up alongside Luca Lunetta in the Moto2 World Championship
The SpeedRS Team is pleased to announce the signing of Guido Pini for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. The Tuscan rider will join Luca Lunetta, completing an all-Italian line-up.
Born in 2008 and hailing from Borgo San Lorenzo, Guido began his career in the CIV PreMoto3 Championship, finishing runner-up at just thirteen years of age. In 2022, he claimed the European Talent Cup title, followed by another second-place finish the following year. His move to JuniorGP in 2024 saw him emerge as one of the leading contenders, taking three victories and five podium finishes. Despite an injury that forced him to miss the opening rounds, he ended the season in second place overall. In 2025, he stepped up to the Moto3 World Championship and secured his first podium at the Indonesian GP, before taking his maiden victory at the US GP in 2026.
In 2027, Pini will make his debut in the intermediate class riding a Boscoscuro bike, with the aim of building a strong and ambitious project together with the SpeedRS Team. This move confirms the team’s commitment to investing in young talent and supporting their development as they progress towards the highest levels of motorcycle racing.
