#AUSGP – MOTO2 RACE OFFICIALLY CANCELLED AT THE AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX
Persistent rain at Phillip Island has forced organisers to officially cancel the Moto2 race at the Australian Grand Prix.
The decision was made due to adverse weather conditions, which prevented the medical helicopter from operating safely. Despite repeated delays in the hope of an improvement in the weather, conditions never allowed the riders to take to the track safely.
The Beta Tools SpeedRS Team now closes the Australian Grand Prix weekend and turns its attention to the next round of the season, scheduled for 30 October to 1 November at the Sepang International Circuit.
