PRIMA VOLTA PER IL SYNC SPEEDRS TEAM AL BALATON PARK CIRCUIT. LÓPEZ QUINTO, VIETTI IN Q1

Prima volta assoluta per il Sync SpeedRS Team al Balaton Park Circuit, che ospita il quattordicesimo round della stagione 2025. Una giornata di apprendistato e scoperta su un tracciato tecnico e impegnativo, che ha visto due risultati diversi per i nostri piloti.

Dopo una FP1 conclusa in P20 (1’42.711), Alonso ha mostrato una crescita nella sessione del pomeriggio, trovando sempre di più il giusto feeling con la pista ungherese. Nonostante un lieve contatto con Arenas e alcuni giri cancellati per bandiera gialla, il numero 21 ha chiuso con un eccellente 1’41.425, che gli è valso la quinta posizione, a soli +0.212 dal leader. Un risultato che gli garantisce l’accesso diretto alla Q2 di domani.

Più complesso l’avvio di weekend per Celestino. Una caduta alla curva 8 durante le prove del mattino lo ha costretto a rientrare solo negli ultimi minuti della FP1, senza avere il tempo necessario per completare un giro competitivo, chiudendo così in P13 con 1’42.683. Nelle Practice, nonostante alcuni interventi di setup durante il pit stop, non è riuscito a trovare il crono desiderato e, a seguito di un’ulteriore scivolata, si è fermato in ventiduesima posizione con 1’41.939. Domani lo attende la Q1, con l’obiettivo di riscattarsi e conquistare l’accesso al turno decisivo.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 5° in 1’41.425

“È un circuito che mi piace e che si adatta bene al mio stile. Qui la frenata è molto importante e complicata, perché dopo devi subito preparare la curva successiva: arrivi veloce e devi frenare forte. Superare non è semplice, ci sono forse due o tre punti utili. È anche una pista in cui è facile commettere errori, quindi credo che sarà fondamentale partire davanti. Domani possiamo fare una buona qualifica”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 22° in 1’41.939

“È stata purtroppo una partenza difficile e la scivolata di questa mattina non ci ha aiutato a sfruttare al meglio il tempo in pista. Per fortuna non mi sono fatto nulla, ma abbiamo girato poco. Questo pomeriggio abbiamo fatto qualche passo avanti, ma non è stato sufficiente. Alla fine ho provato a spingere un po’ di più, ho commesso un errore e sono scivolato. Troppi errori oggi, ma i tempi non sono così lontani: siamo tutti molto vicini. Domani cercheremo di migliorare sia la moto che la mia guida per ottenere di più e speriamo di riuscire a passare in Q2”.

It’s the very first time for the Sync SpeedRS Team at the Balaton Park Circuit, which is hosting the fourteenth round of the 2025 season. A day of learning and discovery on a technical and demanding track saw two different outcomes for our drivers.

After FP1, where he finished P20 (1’42.711), Alonso showed improvement in the afternoon session, gradually finding the right feeling with the Hungarian track. Despite a minor contact with Arenas and some laps being canceled due to yellow flags, rider #21 closed with an excellent 1’41.425, earning fifth position, just +0.212 from the leader. This result guarantees him direct access to Q2 tomorrow.

A more challenging start to the weekend for Celestino. A crash at Turn 8 during the morning session forced him to return to the track only in the final minutes of FP1, without enough time to complete a competitive lap, finishing P13 with a 1’42.683. In the Practice session, despite some setup adjustments during the pit stop, he was unable to find the desired pace and, following another crash, ended up in 22nd position with a 1’41.939. Tomorrow he will face Q1, aiming to redeem himself and secure a place in the decisive session.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 5th in 1’41.425
“It’s a track I like and that suits my style well. Here, braking is very important and tricky because right after you have to prepare for the next corner: you arrive fast and have to brake hard. Overtaking isn’t easy, there are maybe two or three good spots. It’s also a track where it’s easy to make mistakes, so I think starting up front will be crucial. Tomorrow we can have a good qualifying”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 22nd in 1’41.939

“Unfortunately, it was a difficult start, and this morning’s crash didn’t help us make the most of our track time. Fortunately, I didn’t get hurt, but we didn’t get to run much. This afternoon we made some progress, but it wasn’t enough. In the end, I tried to push a bit more, made a mistake, and crashed. Too many mistakes today, but the times aren’t too far off: everyone is very close. Tomorrow we’ll try to improve both the bike and my riding to get more out of it, and hopefully we can make it through to Q2”.
