QUALIFICHE GP D’ITALIA: VIETTI IN SECONDA FILA, LÓPEZ IN QUARTA

Si chiudono con riscontri positivi le qualifiche del Gran Premio d’Italia per il Beta Tools SpeedRS Team. Celestino Vietti scatterà dalla seconda fila, mentre Alonso López partirà dalla quarta.

Nonostante un problema tecnico durante le FP2, Vietti è riuscito a chiudere la sessione del mattino con un solido quarto tempo in 1’50.206. López ha terminato le prove libere in dodicesima posizione, con un crono di 1’50.537.

Nel pomeriggio, con l’asfalto più caldo e alcune interruzioni causate da bandiere gialle, i piloti sono tornati in pista per la Q2. Celestino, grazie a un secondo run incisivo, ha fermato il cronometro in 1’50.023, ottenendo il sesto miglior tempo e garantendosi così la partenza dalla seconda fila nella gara di casa.

Alonso ha invece schiacciato il suo miglior tempo nella fase iniziale della sessione in 1’50.287, crono che gli vale la dodicesima posizione in griglia, ovvero la quarta fila per la gara di domani.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 7° in 1’50.023

“Il feeling è buono questo weekend: stiamo confermando le sensazioni positive del test e stiamo lavorando nella giusta direzione. Anche oggi siamo stati competitivi, sia nella simulazione di gara di stamattina che nel time attack del pomeriggio, dove abbiamo segnato un buon tempo. Peccato per un giro non del tutto pulito, non sono riuscito a mettere insieme tutto al meglio, ma nel complesso sono soddisfatto. Domani sarà fondamentale partire bene per guadagnare subito posizioni e non restare intrappolati nel caldo delle altre moto. La gestione della gomma sarà cruciale, ma siamo fiduciosi che possiamo fare una buona gara”.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 12° in 1’50.287

“Il caldo ha reso complicato fare una qualifica perfetta. Fin dal primo giro ho cercato di spingere al massimo e sono riuscito a ottenere un buon tempo già nel primo run. Avremmo potuto limare ancora qualcosa, ma nel complesso sono soddisfatto della quarta fila. Domani sarà fondamentale partire bene: daremo il massimo e speriamo di replicare, se non migliorare, il risultato dello scorso anno!”.

ITALIAN GP QUALIFYING: VIETTI ON SECOND ROW, LÓPEZ ON FOURTH

Qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix ended on a positive note for the Beta Tools SpeedRS Team. Celestino Vietti will start from the second row, while Alonso López will line up on the fourth.

Despite a technical issue during FP2, Vietti managed to end the morning session with a solid fourth-fastest time of 1:50.206. López finished free practice in twelfth position, setting a lap of 1’50.537.

In the afternoon, with hotter track conditions and a few yellow flag interruptions, the riders returned to the track for Q2. Celestino, thanks to a strong second run, stopped the clock at 1’50.023, securing the sixth-best time and a second-row start for tomorrow’s home race.

Alonso set his fastest lap early in the session with a time of 1’50.287, placing him twelfth on the grid – a fourth-row start for tomorrow’s race.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 7th – 1:50.023

“The feeling has been good this weekend: we’re confirming the positive sensations we had during the test and working in the right direction. We were competitive again today, both in the race simulation this morning and in the afternoon time attack, where we posted a strong lap. It’s a shame I didn’t manage a completely clean lap—I wasn’t able to put everything together perfectly—but overall, I’m satisfied. Tomorrow, a strong start will be crucial to gain positions early and avoid being stuck in the heat coming off the other bikes. Tyre management will be key, but we’re confident we can have a good race”.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 12th – 1:50.287

“The heat made it difficult to put together a perfect qualifying session. From the very first lap, I tried to push to the maximum and was able to set a good time already on the first run. We could have shaved off a bit more, but overall I’m happy with the fourth row. Tomorrow, a good start will be essential: we’ll give it our all and hope to match or even improve on last year’s result!”.
