QUALIFICHE VALENCIA GP: QUARTA FILA DELLA GRIGLIA PER VIETTI. LÓPEZ FUORI DALLA Q2 

Celestino Vietti conquista il decimo posto nelle qualifiche del Gran Premio della Comunità Valenciana, assicurandosi la quarta fila sulla griglia di partenza. Giornata più complicata per Alonso López, che si ferma in Q1.

Mattinata di lavoro intenso per Vietti, che ha dedicato i 30 minuti di FP2 a una simulazione di gara: ha effettuato solo una sosta ai box per alcune modifiche, senza cambiare le gomme, chiudendo le libere in 18ª posizione ma mostrando un ritmo promettente in ottica gara. In Q2, Celestino è poi andato alla ricerca del time attack, conquistando il decimo tempo in 1’32.157, che gli è valso la quarta fila della griglia di partenza.

Per López, le FP2 si sono chiuse in P19 (1’33.390), mentre in Q1 non è riuscito a qualificarsi per la fase decisiva, fermandosi al quinto posto della sessione con un crono di 1’32.551. Domani partirà dalla settima fila.

“Non è il risultato che speravamo. Ci manca competitività per poter lottare nella top10, ma rimaniamo concentrati sull’obiettivo di portare a casa la miglior gara possibile. È l’ultima della stagione e vogliamo chiuderla nel modo migliore”.

“Oggi è andata meglio, abbiamo fatto un’ottima progressione anche se rispetto ai primi ci manca ancora qualcosa. Domani sarà fondamentale gestire al meglio le gomme, ma come sempre punteremo a una buona partenza e daremo il massimo in gara”.

VALENCIA GP QUALIFYING: VIETTI IN FOURTH ROW, LÓPEZ OUT OF Q2

Celestino Vietti secured 10th place in the qualifying session for the Valencian Community Grand Prix, earning a spot on the fourth row of the starting grid. A more challenging day for Alonso López, who failed to make it through Q1.

Vietti had an intense morning, dedicating the 30 minutes of FP2 to a race simulation: he made only one pit stop for minor adjustments and did not change tires, finishing the session in 18th position but showing promising pace for the race. In Q2, Celestino went after a time attack, setting the 10th fastest lap in 1’32.157, securing his place on the fourth row of the grid.

For López, FP2 ended in 19th place (1’33.390), while in Q1 he was unable to advance to the decisive phase, finishing 5th in the session with a lap time of 1’32.551. He will start from the seventh row tomorrow.
