VIETTI CHIUDE TREDICESIMO LA GARA DEL GP DEL PORTOGALLO, LÓPEZ RESTA FUORI DALLA ZONA PUNTI 

Il Beta Tools SpeedRS Team archivia il Gran Premio del Portogallo con due piazzamenti fuori dalla top ten: Celestino Vietti conclude la gara in tredicesima posizione, mentre Alonso López chiude diciannovesimo dopo una corsa impegnativa.

Per Vietti la gara era iniziata con le migliori premesse: una partenza fulminea lo aveva portato in terza posizione già al termine del primo giro. Il pilota piemontese ha poi ingaggiato una lunga battaglia con Canet, Gonzalez e Baltus per la sesta piazza, ma nella seconda parte di gara non è riuscito a mantenere il ritmo del gruppo, chiudendo in tredicesima posizione.

Gara più complicata invece per López, che dopo aver cercato di rimanere in zona punti nella prima metà della corsa, ha progressivamente perso contatto con i piloti davanti, tagliando il traguardo in diciannovesima posizione.

Il SpeedRS Team resta concentrato sul lavoro da svolgere in vista del prossimo e ultimo appuntamento: il GP della Comunità Valenciana del 14/15/16 novembre.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 19°

“È stata una gara davvero impegnativa per me. All’inizio ho cercato di restare agganciato al gruppo ma con il passare dei giri ho iniziato a faticare nel mantenere il ritmo. Non avevo il feeling giusto con la moto e questo mi ha reso difficile essere costante e aggressivo come avrei voluto. Chiaramente non è il risultato che cercavamo, ma fa parte del processo”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 13°

“È stato un bel weekend, ma in gara non sono riuscito a concretizzare. Non siamo riusciti a esprimere al meglio il nostro potenziale e, alla fine, ho portato a casa i punti che sono riuscito a ottenere”.

VIETTI FINISHES 13TH THE PORTUGUESE GP RACE, LÓPEZ OUTSIDE THE POINTS

The Beta Tools SpeedRS Team wraps up the Portuguese Grand Prix with two finishes outside the top ten: Celestino Vietti crossed the line in 13th position, while Alonso López ended the race 19th after a demanding contest.

For Vietti, the race had started with the best of prospects: a lightning start saw him climb to third place by the end of the opening lap. The Italian rider then engaged in a long battle with Canet, Gonzalez, and Baltus for sixth position, but in the second half of the race he was unable to maintain the group’s pace, eventually finishing 13th.

It was a more difficult race for López, who initially managed to stay within the points but gradually lost contact with the riders ahead, crossing the finish line in 19th place.
The SpeedRS Team remains focused on the work ahead in preparation for the next and final round of the season — the Valencian Grand Prix, scheduled for November 14–16.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 19th
“It was a really tough race for me. At the start I tried to stay with the group, but as the laps went by I began to struggle to keep up the pace. I didn’t have the right feeling, which made it difficult to be as consistent and aggressive as I wanted. Obviously, this isn’t the result we were looking for, but it’s part of the race”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 13th
“It was a good weekend overall, but I couldn’t turn it into a strong race result. We weren’t able to fully express our potential, and in the end I brought home the points I could get”.
