Il MB Conveyors SpeedRS Team chiude il GP di casa con un risultato straordinario grazie a un memorabile Celestino Vietti, protagonista di una rimonta eccezionale che lo ha portato a conquistare il secondo gradino del podio. Un risultato che per il numero 13 ha il sapore di un vero e proprio trionfo.

Dopo un avvio complicato, Celestino ha saputo reagire con determinazione, prendendo il controllo della propria gara e costruendo giro dopo giro una rimonta fatta di sorpassi decisi e grande lucidità.

Costante, aggressivo e impeccabile nei momenti chiave, Vietti ha completato il proprio capolavoro all’ultimo giro, conquistando la seconda posizione con un sorpasso spettacolare che ha fatto esplodere il Mugello e regalato al MB Conveyors SpeedRS Team e Boscoscuro un podio speciale.

Gara più complessa invece per Luca Lunetta, che ha comunque mostrato un buon potenziale durante tutto il fine settimana. Alcuni errori nel corso della gara hanno però compromesso la gestione degli pneumatici e il risultato finale, impedendo al pilota numero 32 di esprimere completamente il proprio ritmo. Lunetta ha chiuso il GP d’Italia in sedicesima posizione, a un passo dalla zona punti.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: P2

“Una domenica che ricorderò sicuramente. Non è una vittoria ma vale come una vittoria, perché ieri dopo l’errore ho pensato di aver rovinato tutto il weekend. Ieri fino alle 21 abbiamo analizzato tutto e lavorato affinché il ritmo che avevamo si vedesse anche in gara. Anche oggi ho fatto un errore di troppo all’inizio con Alonso, che non era calcolato, ma sapevo di esserci. La moto ha lavorato davvero bene e la squadra sta facendo un lavoro incredibile. Sono davvero emozionato perché è stata una gara tosta e l’ho gestita meglio di quello che mi aspettassi. L’ultimo sorpasso all’ultimo giro, tanta roba!”.

LUCA LUNETTA #32: P16

“Non sono completamente soddisfatto perché il potenziale per fare di più c’era. Purtroppo alcuni errori mi hanno complicato la gestione della gara e delle gomme, impedendomi di entrare in zona punti. Analizzeremo tutto con il team per capire dove migliorare e arrivare ancora più preparati al GP d’Ungheria del prossimo weekend”.

The MB Conveyors SpeedRS Team wraps up its home Grand Prix with a remarkable result thanks to a brilliant Celestino Vietti, who delivered an exceptional comeback to secure second place on the podium. A result that, for the #13 rider, truly feels like a victory in all but name.

After a difficult start, Celestino reacted with determination, taking control of his race and building lap after lap a recovery made of decisive overtakes and outstanding race intelligence.

Consistent, aggressive and flawless in key moments, Vietti completed his masterpiece on the final lap, securing second place with a spectacular overtake that brought the Mugello crowd to its feet and gifted the MB Conveyors SpeedRS Team and Boscoscuro a very special podium.

A more challenging race for Luca Lunetta, who nevertheless showed solid potential throughout the weekend. However, a few mistakes during the race affected his tyre management and overall result, preventing him from fully expressing his pace. Lunetta finished the Italian GP in 16th position, just outside the points.

“A Sunday I will definitely remember. It’s not a win, but it feels like one, because yesterday after the mistake I thought I had ruined the whole weekend. Until 9 p.m. we analysed everything and worked to make sure the pace we had could show in the race as well. Today I also made one too many mistakes at the beginning with Alonso, which wasn’t planned, but I knew I was there. The bike worked really well and the team is doing an incredible job. I’m really emotional because it was a tough race and I managed it better than I expected. The last-lap overtake was absolutely massive!”.

LUCA LUNETTA #32: P16

“I’m not completely satisfied because the potential was there to do more. Unfortunately, a few mistakes made it harder to manage the race and the tyres, preventing me from getting into the points. We will analyse everything with the team to understand where we can improve and come back stronger for next weekend’s Hungarian GP”.
