GIORNATA DIFFICILE PER I PILOTI DEL BETA TOOLS SPEEDRS TEAM NELLA PRIMA GIORNATA DEL GP D’AUSTRALIA

Il Beta Tools SpeedRS Team è atterrato dall’altra parte del mondo, nella “terra di sotto”, per affrontare il Gran Premio d’Australia. La prima giornata di prove però, non ha portato i risultati sperati: entrambi i piloti chiudono il venerdì fuori dalla Q2 diretta, con una ventitreesima e una ventiseiesima posizione.

La giornata si è aperta con il consueto meteo imprevedibile australiano, che ha complicato la sessione di FP1. Il numero 21 ha scelto di attendere condizioni migliori prima di scendere in pista, ma una volta uscito non è riuscito a completare nemmeno due giri validi a causa di una caduta che ha compromesso la sua sessione. Impossibilitato a lavorare sulla sua Boscoscuro, Alonso ha tentato di recuperare terreno nel pomeriggio, ma non è riuscito a qualificarsi direttamente per la Q2. Con un tempo di 1’31.557, ha chiuso in P23 e proverà a riscattarsi nella giornata di domani.

Non è andata meglio a Vietti, vittima di una scivolata in FP1 che lo ha costretto a chiudere la prova in P18 con un crono di 1’32.965. Nel pomeriggio, un’ulteriore caduta ha reso ancora più complicato il suo lavoro, impedendogli di concludere le Practice nel migliore dei modi. Celestino ha terminato in P26 con un tempo di 1’32.180 e affronterà le Q1 nella giornata di domani.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 23° in 1’31.557

“Oggi non è stata una giornata facile. La FP1 è stata complicata fin dall’inizio: ho avuto una caduta che mi ha impedito di completare i giri necessari per testare il set-up, e questo ha condizionato tutto il resto della giornata. Nel pomeriggio abbiamo provato a recuperare, ma non siamo riusciti a mettere insieme il giro giusto per entrare direttamente in Q2. Ovviamente non è quello che volevamo, ma domani è un altro giorno”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #21: 26° in 1’32.180

“Sapevo che il meteo australiano avrebbe reso tutto più complicato, e purtroppo ho avuto due cadute che hanno limitato il nostro lavoro. Non è il risultato che ci aspettavamo, ma ora ci mettiamo all’opera e ci concentriamo su ogni dettaglio per affrontare al meglio la Q1”.

DIFFICULT DAY FOR THE BETA TOOLS SPEEDRS TEAM RIDERS IN THE FIRST DAY OF THE AUSTRALIAN GP

The Beta Tools SpeedRS Team has landed on the other side of the world, in the “land down under,” to take on the Australian Grand Prix. However, the first day of practice did not bring the results hoped for: both riders ended Friday outside direct Q2, in twenty-third and twenty-sixth positions.

The day opened with the usual unpredictable Australian weather, which complicated the FP1 session. Number 21 chose to wait for better conditions before going out on track, but once he did, he didn’t complete even two valid laps due to a crash that compromised his session. Unable to work on his Boscoscuro, Alonso tried to make up ground in the afternoon, but he was not able to qualify directly for Q2. With a time of 1’31.557, he finished in P23 and will aim to redeem himself tomorrow.

It was not any better for Vietti, who suffered a crash in FP1 that forced him to finish the session in P18 with a lap time of 1’32.965. In the afternoon, another crash made his work even more difficult, preventing him from completing the practice sessions in the best possible way. Celestino ended in P26 with a time of 1’32.180 and will face Q1 tomorrow.
