GARA PIENA DI COLPI DI SCENA AL CIRCUITO DI SEPANG: VIETTI E LÓPEZ RIMONTANO FINO ALL’11ª E 14ª POSIZIONE

Una domenica movimentata per il Sync SpeedRS Team sul tracciato di Sepang, teatro di una gara di Moto2 ricca di colpi di scena.

A causa di un incidente avvenuto durante il sighting lap della Moto3, la partenza della gara è stata posticipata alle 16:30 ora locale. Ma i problemi non si sono fermati lì: dopo appena due giri, la caduta di Roberts ha costretto la direzione gara a esporre la bandiera rossa, portando a una ripartenza ridotta a 11 giri invece dei 17 iniziali.

Nonostante il caldo e le difficoltà del weekend, Celestino Vietti e Alonso López hanno tagliato il traguardo rispettivamente in undicesima e quattordicesima posizione.

Vietti, scattato non al meglio e ritrovandosi 20º al primo giro, ha mostrato un ottimo ritmo in rimonta fino alla P11 finale.

Alonso, invece, autore di una partenza esplosiva, si è portato subito in top 15 mantenendo un buon passo e concludendo in quattordicesima posizione.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 14°

“È stata una gara davvero complicata fin dall’inizio. Dopo la bandiera rossa e la seconda partenza non sono riuscito a mantenere lo stesso feeling che avevo nella prima parte, ma ho comunque dato tutto fino alla fine. Le condizioni erano difficili, faceva molto caldo e la gara è stata caotica, ma abbiamo portato a casa qualche punto. Ora guardiamo avanti, continueremo a lavorare con il team per essere più forti nella prossima gara”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #21: 11°

Nella seconda partenza pensavo di aver fatto un bello scatto ma invece mi sono chiuso nel traffico. Alla fine chiudiamo in P11, non il risultato che volevamo ma comunque positivo dopo un weekend complicato. Ringrazio il team per il lavoro, continueremo a spingere per chiudere al meglio la stagione”.

DRAMA-FILLED RACE AT SEPANG: VIETTI AND LÓPEZ FIGHT BACK TO 11TH AND 14TH PLACE

A hectic Sunday for the Sync SpeedRS Team at the Sepang circuit, where a Moto2 race full of twists and turns unfolded.

Due to an accident during the Moto3 sighting lap, the race start was delayed to 4:30 p.m. local time. But the problems didn’t stop there: after just two laps, Roberts’ crash forced race direction to show the red flag, leading to a restart shortened to 11 laps instead of the original 17.

Despite the heat and a tough weekend, Celestino Vietti and Alonso López crossed the finish line in 11th and 14th place respectively.
Vietti, who got off to a poor start and found himself 20th on the opening lap, showed great pace in his comeback to finish P11.
López, on the other hand, made an explosive start, quickly moving into the top 15, maintaining a solid rhythm and ending in 14th position.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 14th
“It was a really difficult race right from the start. After the red flag and the second start, I couldn’t keep the same feeling I had in the first part, but I still gave everything until the end. The conditions were tough — it was very hot and the race was chaotic — but we still managed to score some points. Now we look ahead; we’ll keep working with the team to be stronger in the next race”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 11th
“In the second start I thought I had made a good getaway, but I ended up getting boxed in by traffic. In the end we finished P11 — not the result we wanted, but still a positive one after a complicated weekend. I want to thank the team for their work; we’ll keep pushing to finish the season in the best possible way”.
