Si chiude con un nono e un ventesimo posto il Gran Premio della Repubblica Ceca per HDR SpeedRS Team sul circuito di Brno.

Un fine settimana complesso per Celestino Vietti, che lascia comunque la Repubblica Ceca con punti preziosi, consolidando la terza posizione nel Campionato del Mondo. Dopo una partenza non particolarmente efficace, il pilota italiano ha mantenuto un ritmo costante nel corso della gara, senza però riuscire ad agganciarsi al gruppo di testa. Alcune sbavature nelle fasi centrali della corsa hanno inoltre compromesso le possibilità di recupero, portandolo a chiudere in nona posizione sotto la bandiera a scacchi.

Gara in salita invece per Luca Lunetta. Scattato dalla diciassettesima casella in griglia, il numero 32 non è riuscito ad essere esplosivo sin dalle prime fasi. Nonostante questo, Lunetta ha concluso il weekend ceco al ventesimo posto. 

Archiviato il round di Brno, HDR SpeedRS Team è già proiettato verso il prossimo appuntamento del calendario: il GP dei Paesi Bassi, in programma ad Assen dal 27 al 29 giugno.

“Non è stata una gara facile oggi, non sono stato abbastanza veloce per stare davanti e ho fatto due errori che mi hanno staccato dal gruppo e da lì non ho più recuperato. Comunque qualche punto in un weekend difficile l’abbiamo portato a casa e per fortuna tra pochi giorni abbiamo Assen per fare meglio. Grazie a tutto il team per il lavoro di questi giorni”.

LUCA LUNETTA #32: P20

“È stata una domenica costruttiva, abbiamo portato a termine la gara e raccolto dati importanti per proseguire il nostro lavoro. Da metà gara in poi il passo era molto buono, con la gomma usata infatti il feeling era ottimo. Peccato la prima parte della gara che ci è mancata un po’ di velocità ed esplosività, per poter ambire ai punti. Analizziamo tutto e ci vediamo tra qualche giorno in Olanda ancora più carichi e motivati. Ringrazio il team per tutto l’impegno e tutti gli sponsor”.

NINTH AND TWENTIETH PLACE FOR THE HDR SPEEDRS TEAM AT THE CZECH GP

The HDR SpeedRS Team concluded the Czech Grand Prix at the Brno circuit with a ninth-place and a twentieth-place finish.

It was a challenging weekend for Celestino Vietti, who nevertheless leaves the Czech Republic with valuable points, strengthening his third position in the World Championship standings. After a less-than-ideal start, the Italian rider maintained a consistent pace throughout the race but was unable to latch onto the leading group. A couple of mistakes during the middle stages of the race further compromised his chances of making up positions, and he eventually crossed the finish line in ninth place.

It was an uphill race for Luca Lunetta. Starting from 17th on the grid, rider number 32 was unable to be explosive in the opening stages. Despite this, Lunetta completed the Czech weekend in 20th place.

With the Brno round now behind them, HDR SpeedRS Team is already focused on the next event on the calendar: the Dutch Grand Prix at Assen, scheduled for June 27–29.

“It wasn’t an easy race today. I wasn’t fast enough to stay at the front and I made two mistakes that caused me to lose contact with the group. From that point on, I couldn’t recover. Still, we managed to bring home some points from a difficult weekend, and fortunately we’ll be back on track in just a few days at Assen with the chance to do better. Thanks to the whole team for their hard work over these past days”.

LUCA LUNETTA #32: P20

“It was a constructive Sunday. We completed the race and gathered important data to continue our work. From the middle of the race onwards, our pace was very good, and with the used tyre the feeling was excellent. It’s a shame about the first part of the race, where we lacked a bit of speed and explosiveness to fight for the points. We’ll analyse everything and see each other again in a few days in the Netherlands, even more motivated and determined. Thanks to the team for all their effort and to all our sponsors”.
