Si apre in salita il decimo round della stagione sullo storico TT Circuit Assen, con una giornata particolarmente complessa per l’HDR SpeedRS Team.

La mattinata ha comunque fornito indicazioni incoraggianti durante le FP1, con Celestino Vietti che ha ha segnatoil quinto miglior tempo in 1’36.135, mentre Luca Lunetta ha chiuso in diciassettesima posizione in 1’36.747. Entrambi hanno confermato un buon potenziale in vista delle prequalifiche.

Nel corso della Practice, però, la giornata ha preso una piega decisamente negativa. Vietti è caduto alla curva 5 nei primi minuti della sessione, senza riuscire a completare un giro valido utile per la classifica. Poco dopo, anche Lunetta è scivolato compromettendo la sua prova. Fortunatamente, entrambi i piloti stanno bene e non hanno riportato gravi conseguenze fisiche dopo gli incidenti.

L’HDR SpeedRS Team sarà costretto ad affrontare la Q1 nella giornata di domani, con l’obiettivo di conquistare uno dei posti disponibili per accedere alla Q2 e giocarsi le migliori posizioni in griglia.

LUCA LUNETTA #32: P24 in 1’37.288

“Questa mattina avevo iniziato bene, con buone sensazioni sia sullo stile di guida sia sulla moto in sé. Siamo stati subito veloci, ma nel pomeriggio le condizioni della pista erano completamente diverse, molto più difficili, e sono caduto. Sto bene e abbiamo le idee chiare su cosa dobbiamo migliorare per fare uno step domani mattina e nelle qualifiche”.

FRIDAY CHALLENGING AT ASSEN FOR THE HDR SPEEDRS TEAM

The tenth round of the season gets underway at the historic TT Circuit Assen with a difficult opening day for the HDR SpeedRS Team.

The morning FP1 session delivered encouraging signs, with Celestino Vietti setting the fifth-fastest time in 1’36.135, while Luca Lunetta finished 17th in 1’36.747. Both riders confirmed solid potential heading into the Practice session.

However, the afternoon Practice took a negative turn. Vietti crashed at Turn 5 in the opening minutes, unable to complete a valid lap time for the classification. Shortly after, Lunetta also went down, ending his session early. Fortunately, both riders are fine and did not sustain any serious injuries following their incidents.

The HDR SpeedRS Team will now face Q1 tomorrow, aiming to secure a place in Q2 and fight for the best possible grid positions.

“This morning I had started well, with good sensations both in terms of riding style and the bike itself. We were immediately fast, but in the afternoon the track conditions were completely different, much more difficult, and I crashed. I’m fine and we have a clear idea of what we need to improve to make a step forward tomorrow morning and in qualifying”.
