Si chiude la prima parte della stagione 2026 con il Gran Premio di Germania, ultimo appuntamento prima della pausa estiva. Al Sachsenring, Luca Lunetta conquista un prezioso decimo posto, raccogliendo punti importanti per la classifica Rookie of the Year. Weekend sfortunato, invece, per Celestino Vietti, costretto al ritiro dopo una caduta a dieci giri dal termine.

La nuova configurazione della griglia di partenza, con quattro metri di distanza tra i piloti della stessa fila rispetto ai tre tradizionali e introdotta quest’anno in tutte le classi del Campionato del Mondo, ha reso più complessa la gestione delle prime fasi di gara, riducendo le opportunità di attacco e di recupero immediato.

Nonostante questa nuova dinamica, Lunetta ha mantenuto un ritmo competitivo fin dallo spegnimento dei semafori, rimanendo costantemente nel gruppo in lotta per la top 10. Il pilota romano ha costruito la propria gara con grande determinazione, concretizzando il risultato nelle fasi finali e tagliando il traguardo in decima posizione. Un piazzamento che conferma il costante percorso di crescita mostrato nel corso di questa prima metà di stagione.

Fine settimana più difficile, invece, per Vietti. Il pilota numero 13 ha faticato fin dalle prove del venerdì a trovare il giusto feeling con il tracciato tedesco. Scattato dalla ventiduesima posizione in griglia, è riuscito a recuperare alcune posizioni nelle prime fasi della gara, ma al sedicesimo giro è stato protagonista di una scivolata alla curva 1 che ha posto fine anticipatamente alla sua corsa, impedendogli di concretizzare la rimonta.

Con il Gran Premio di Germania si conclude la prima parte del Campionato del Mondo. Il MB Conveyors SpeedRS Team osserverà ora la tradizionale pausa estiva prima di tornare in pista a Silverstone per il Gran Premio di Gran Bretagna, in programma dal 7 al 9 agosto.

“Un gran peccato finire così la prima metà di stagione. Mi dispiace per tutta la squadra, adesso abbiamo un attimo di pausa dove devo allenarmi al massimo e resettare dopo le ultime gare difficili. “Altra top10. Sono molto soddisfatto di questo risultato, che ci siamo sudati veramente molto durante le ultime settimane. Il weekend è stato molto solido GIà dal venerdì mattina e siamo riusciti a costruire sin da subito buone sensazioni, migliorando il feeling con la moto turno dopo turno. Oggi ho cercato di gestire nel miglior modo possibile le gomme e infatti da metà gara in poi, soprattutto, eravamo molto veloci. Ringrazio tutta la squadra, gli sponsor e tutte le persone che ci supportano. Ci vediamo a Silverstone”.

AT SACHSENRING, THE MB CONVEYORS SPEEDRS TEAM CLOSES THE FIRST PART OF THE SEASON WITH LUNETTA’S TOP 10 FINISH

The first part of the 2026 season comes to an end with the German Grand Prix, the final round before the summer break. At Sachsenring, Luca Lunetta secured a valuable tenth-place finish, collecting important points in the Rookie of the Year standings. It was an unlucky weekend, however, for Celestino Vietti, who was forced to retire after a crash with ten laps remaining.

The new starting grid configuration, with four metres of distance between riders on the same row compared to the traditional three metres, introduced this year across all classes of the World Championship, made the opening stages of the race more challenging, reducing opportunities for overtaking and immediate recovery.

Despite this new dynamic, Lunetta maintained a competitive pace from the moment the lights went out, remaining consistently within the group fighting for the top 10. The Roman rider built his race with great determination, securing the result in the final stages and crossing the finish line in tenth position. This result confirms the constant progress shown throughout the first half of the season.

It was a more difficult weekend for Vietti. The #13 rider struggled from Friday’s practice sessions to find the right feeling with the German track. Starting from twenty-second on the grid, he managed to recover a few positions in the early stages of the race, but on lap 16 he suffered a crash at Turn 1, which brought his race to an early end and prevented him from completing his comeback.

With the German Grand Prix, the first part of the World Championship season comes to a close. The MB Conveyors SpeedRS Team will now take the traditional summer break before returning to action at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix, scheduled from 7 to 9 August.

Now we have a short break during which I have to train as hard as possible and reset after the last difficult races. “Another top 10 finish. I am very satisfied with this result, which we really worked hard for over the last few weeks. The weekend was already very solid from Friday morning, and we were able to build good feelings straight away, improving the feeling with the bike session after session. Today I tried to manage the tyres in the best possible way, and from the middle of the race onwards, we were very fast. I want to thank the whole team, the sponsors, and everyone who supports us.
